Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team Of AFS Enthrals The Spectators

The aerobatics demonstration at the Air Force Station in Punjab enthralled the spectators.
According to reports, the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force was responsible for the demonstration.
It is nearly two decades since the team has displayed aerobatics across the length and breadth of India and abroad. It is known for the completion of more than 600 displays.
Popularly known as the ‘Ambassadors’ of the Indian Air Force, the team has achieved the distinction of being one of the nine aircraft aerobatic teams in the world.
The team is led by Group Captain GS Dhillon and flies nine Hawk MK 132 aircraft, licensed in India under the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Various incredible operations are performed by the team and were inspired by the motto ‘Always the Best'.
It thus takes immense pride in showcasing the highest standards and traditions of the Indian Air Force.
The distinctive features of the team include teamwork, professional excellence and mutual trust.
