No Talk To Pakistan, Will Talk To People Of Kashmir, Says Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah ruled out any possibility of dialogue with Pakistan on Thursday during his first public rally after repealing Article 370 in Baramulla, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, "Some think we should communicate with Pakistan. And why should we? We will not converse. We will talk to the people of Baramulla, we will talk to the people of Kashmir.” Further, he said, the valley is changing from a terrorist hotspot to a tourist hotspot and urged the security forces to keep up their efforts to end terror in J&K.

He also said, "The Modi government does not tolerate terrorism and wants to wipe it out.” The goal is to make J&K the nation's most tranquil region. Shah asserted that no one has ever gained from terrorism, noting that since 1990, 42,000 people have died as a result of terrorism in J&K. It was caused by three families, the Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis, who ruled over J&K. Terrorism is now gradually dying off.

By attacking three families, he continues, “The Gandhis, Muftis and Abdullahs, only three families, 87 MLAs and 6 MPs were allowed to practise democracy in J&K. Modi has enacted democracy at the local level in every village from 5 August 2019.” 

"I want to tell Farooq saheb and Mehbooba, you gave stones and guns to Kashmiri youth; Modi instead offered them computers and mobiles by bringing industries here," he added. 

Shah promised that after the electoral roll modification is finished, the J&K Assembly elections would be held completely transparently.
